Wolkenschloss is a product of mediomicX GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. We develop and operate a platform for electronic locking systems that combines proprietary hardware with an open cloud platform.
Our team brings together expertise in embedded systems development, cloud architecture, mobile app development, and hardware design. We control the entire value chain – from circuit design through firmware to the API.
This depth is intentional: only by developing hardware and software together can you deliver a system that is reliable, secure, and truly integrable.
What Drives Us
Existing locking systems are often proprietary and isolated. They cannot be integrated into existing IT infrastructures, create vendor lock-in, and offer no open interfaces.
Wolkenschloss is the answer: a platform that is technically open yet complete and reliable. Not a patchwork of third-party components, but a well-designed system with clear interfaces.
